Happy Monday folks!
There are some really strange coincidences in this world which we can never in our wildest dreams to think be true. Even until now.
You see, I met Waihon and Manchi awhile back over coffee (what else? :D) discussing their wedding day, and on how they would like their engagement shoot to be like. Meeting them up for the first time, I knew they are avid runners who like to spend time together in their trainers and jogging gear. Other than that, they did not strike me as having any other particular hobby. You know, just your regular couple who are madly in love and are looking for someone to document their feelings down on camera. Imagine my surprise that he turned out to be someone whom I regularly play a certain game called (DOTA2) with! I still remembered I could not stop laughing when a mutual friend of ours who brought us to play together told me about how he found out about the coincidence. Another huge shock was that (drums rolling) the bride plays the game as well, just like my wife. Talk about a perfect combination 🙂
So, for the first time ever, much of our conversations during the engagement session was spent talking about tactics, formations and anything that was game related. Before we had even started shooting, it felt like I knew them already, no matter how strange it sounds, which I guess was a good thing.
All in all, we had a rockin’ good time for that half a day, full of laughter, smiles and quirky banter in the most Waihon-Manchi-esque way possible.
